Maybe the second I listened to DiDP I fell in love with his charmful and totalizing path: Enrico Boccioletti sings and play guitar in Damien* rock band (yes, with the asterisk), then rules a Goldfrappy synthpop duet called French Fries. But I think his success will come with DiDP, an experience with no silence inside, summing M83, Wavves, Radio Dept, lo-fi casiotronics, fuzzy guitar, saturated drum machine… The right kind of artist that could better work out abroad than in Italy: soon in London!

I see, Americans can’t understand the existence of an Italian hip hop scene, and maybe they’re right, from their point of view. But these four guys from Càrnia (High Friuli region) are talented and could testify the goodness of some posses along the country: their “shape” is conscious, almost each one of them grow a side project (Dek Ill Ceesa’s one is rapped in Carnian dialect!) and their fame is getting…higher, thanks also to ReddArmy’s work they reached an award in a Swedish Lapland festival.
