MOROSE
Novembre 14, 2009
Morose is an English word, I think you know what that means. And so they are, these three guys from La Spezia: death-friendly, darkish even not so gothic, new folksters with a taste for Current 93… “La vedova di un uomo vivo” (The widow of a living man) is their very first album in Italian, the previous ones were composed in English: a concept of sadness that stands for Italy the way Boduf Songs or Black Heart Procession stand for their own countries, slow prayers in a dramatic feuilleton key.
