If there is a truth, is that The Second Grace probably started the renewed wave for afro-pop that brought Vampire Weekend to success: this band based on Palermo and ruled by Fabrizio Cammarata (now touring w/ Black Eyed Dog in “Jingle Jangle” project) opened for Devendra Banhart and had a frank success because of the hit Antananarive, that was synchronized with a branded pasta advertisement on Italian tv. Sunny and tropical mood that will soon applied to the new things recorded in the USA.
