Someone invented the word “interground”, to join both spheres of culture or sound, alternative and mainstream… It could fit to Albanopower, a bunch of Sicilian guys named after an inside joke about cheesy stars Albano & Romina Power: their way to pop music is flavoured with other influences, from Pink Floyd to Beatles, from Xmas carols to Phoenix. The right ambition brought them to publish a book of novels and to curate several side projects: finally, their limits are still undiscovered.
