Ok, hearing about hip hop in Italian might seem strange to English speaking people. Nonetheless Andrea Riva, aka Mole, from Belluno, it’s a pretty universal artist, melting rap with all the scents of black music: funk and jazz above all. Sort of a sequel from Neffa’s “107 Elementi”, maybe one of Italian best HH issues in 90s, Mole’s “Nero viaggiatore” is also valuable to listeners not so involved into HH, dealing with other themes than ghetto mood. Imagine him in New York nights with his Moon Walktet live band…
